Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Writing press releases
* Operating the PA system, scoreboard and playing music during games
* Updating the website
* Writing post game articles immediately following the game
* Operating stats software program during games
* Keeping track of and updating team statistics
* Field maintenance
* Other tasks as needed; we are all part of a team and will help each other accomplish all duties

Requirements for position include:

* Pursuing or completed undergraduate degree
* Good organizational skills
* Good team player with great attitude
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment
* Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including weekends

Time Period

The season lasts from the beginning of June through the end of July. Between our six teams, games will be played about five days a week. Games will take place throughout Southern California.

Prospective interns must submit a cover letter and resume to officially apply to the internship program. Broadcasters must also submit a reel. Submissions should be emailed to Dave Sobieraj (at david@sunsetleaguebaseball.com).

The Sunset Baseball League is a premiere collegiate baseball league based out of Southern California. The league's teams recruit elite collegiate players from around the country to come to play baseball in the months of June and July.
