The Signal Hill Oilers operate under the umbrella of Baseball Club Long Beach. 2016 is the fourth year of the franchise. The Oilers have been known as the Legends – Red team since 2012 and created their own franchise name and unique identity after last summer. The franchise has a winning tradition; in 2014 the Oilers franchise won the Orange County Collegiate League championship as Long Beach Legends – Red. In three seasons the franchise boasts and overall record of 90-51.

The Oilers roster will be made up of the best local collegiate talent from all levels. In addition to a 28 game Sunset League schedule, the Oilers will play one of the toughest non-league schedules on the west coast with series against: Conejo Oaks, Long Beach Legends and Redding Colt .45’s.

At the helm for the Signal Hill Oilers will be head coach Paul Lee. Coach Lee was the head baseball coach at Rancho Alamitos High School from 2003-2008. He led the Vaqueros baseball program to its first CIF playoff appearance in twenty years and his teams were consistently ranked in the top five of every offensive category in Orange County. Before his time at Rancho Alamitos, Paul Lee was an assistant coach at Compton Community College.

Signal Hill Oilers will play their home games at Long Beach City College.
